Courtesy:
- Please pick up your horse/pony droppings and put them in the available skips
- Please place your litter in the provided rubbish bins
- Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads at all times
Welfare:
- We do not tolerate the mistreatment of animals (liveried, visiting, native or otherwise) within our grounds
- Any party found mistreating an animal within our facility, will be instructed to leave immediately
- Incidents relating to animal mistreatment are reported to the disciplinary departments of the British Dressage and RSPCA groups for their procedural consideration
Rules:
- Riding hats must always be worn and securely strapped when on horseback
- No horse/pony under the age of four years can be ridden or compete within our grounds
- All boxes, trailers and other visitors vehicles, must be parked in the designated transportation areas
- Participation in any listed as chargeable service, cannot take part without payment, under any circumstances
- Fully refundable cancellations must reach us by the Monday before the scheduled event and are conditional on your speaking to and notifying a member of our staff either directly or via telephone
- Cancellations via eMail or postal services are unacceptable as they may fail to arrive in time or at all
- Payments via PayPal (directly or by debit/credit card) incur a small refund fee
- Our refund charge (including PayPal and HDG administrative costs) is £5.00
- Full refunds are only given in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of HDG and organisers
- Full refund claims should be made by post and include any documentation supporting your claim
(i.e. vet or doctor certificate; extenuating circumstances; justification; complaint; empathy, etc...)
Regulations:
- By entering the grounds of Hastingwood House each attendee agrees to the stipulations encompassed within the pages of this website.
- Riders at Hastingwood House attend and participate at their own risk, taking full responsibility for their own actions, safety and welfare, whilst in attendance
- Visitors at Hastingwood House attend at their own risk, taking full responsibility for their own actions, safety and welfare, whilst in attendance
- Hastingwood Dressage Group and its event partners accept no responsibility or liability for any accidents or injuries caused to any person (visitor, rider, horse/pony, or other individuals) on its facility, howsoever caused
- Hastingwood Dressage Group and its event partners accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to personal or professional equipment (vehicle, box, trailer, tack, or other items) on its facility, howsoever caused
- Any individual or group behaving in an unreasonable or unsociable manner, may be instructed to leave, with any forwarded payments being non-refundable
- Hastingwood Dressage Group have the right to refuse entry to its property at their discretion
Discretionary:
- We advise all riders to have adequate personal injury and third-party liability insurance cover
- It is each riders responsibility to ensure that they carry valid and sufficient personal injury insurance cover
- It is each riders responsibility to ensure that they have adequate third-party liability insurance cover
Other:
- Hastingwood Dressage Group retain a minimal amount of information required to facilitate the organisation and administration of associated events. Primarily names, email addresses and phone numbers
- To enable entrants to view their start times and final results HDG lists competition details on its website before and after each event. Primarily riders names, horse/pony names and associated bridle numbers
- Entrants not wanting their competition details to be viewable on the HDG website should submit a written request directly to the Event Secretary ►
- The data protection act prevents HDG from sending winners information to partners, such as Essex Rider. If you want your result details posted in Essex Rider (or other magazines) you should contact them directly
