Versatile Trec ~ Rules & Information

Rider Rules:

• A rider can enter up to three classes per horse/pony
• All riders must wear PAS015/EN1384 compliant hats, displaying the British Standard Kite Mark and ensure that their hats are securely strapped on, when on horseback

• Whips exceeding seventy-five centimetres are not allowed
• Riders must wear appropriate clothing and footwear
• Body protection is strongly recommended but not compulsory
• The organisers have the right to disqualify any rider deemed to be in breach of the rules

Horse/Pony Rules:

• A horse/pony can enter up to three classes per event
• If your horse wears a running martingale you will need to provide a head collar with lead rope for some of the obstacles on the PTV
• Standing martingales and other fixed reins are not allowed
• The organisers have the right to disqualify any horse/pony deemed to be in breach of the rules

Event Rules:

• Class entry closes on the Monday before the scheduled event
• All entry fees must be paid, in full, by the Monday before the scheduled event
• Event participation is not allowed without full payment under any circumstances
• Any competing rider who is delayed or unable to compete, should inform the event secretary of their situation by calling [07974 756966] or [07931 566644] as soon as possible
• Late entries may still be accepted at the discretion of the organisers
• Late entries are subject to a discretionary £1.50 administration charge per class
• Obedience classes may be read
• Obedience readers must be booked in advance
• If the event is drawn, the drawn entrant with the highest PTV is declared the overall winner

Information:

• Event results should be available by the end of the day but can be delayed
• All results will be sent via eMail within a day or two following the event
• Please provide a stamped addressed envelope if you would prefer the results through the post
